[Solved] Auto Spell Check

I don't have a "user" folder.

Yes you do, if you have used OpenOffice. Re-read my posting above and redo the %appdata% process as I outlined.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

That found it OK and the Spell Check is now working OK.
