[Solved] Problem with .docx files
Latest OpenOffice installed, now all the text in my saved .docx files has disappeared.

The better choice for DOCX / Word files is LibreOffice.
You may open DOCX files on OpenOffice but it is not possible to save/export as DOCX. LibreOffice can.
Bear in mind: there will regularly be a loss in format and/or content, if you save as a Word document.
Always save as odt (open document format), only for exchange export to Word format.
