Installing prob - memory on separate drives

Post by trice »

Hi,
wondering if anyone can help me. Having memory probs on my laptop, the main harddrive of which is split in 2, the C: with 50gb and D: with 881gb. I uninstalled Open Office from the C: and have been trying to reinstall it on the D: The attached image shows what I'm getting:

Is there any way to get around this and have the program look for the D: drive for installation space?
I've been unsuccessful in making more space on the C: except through program uninstalls and it's starting to get a bit insane.
Thanks!

I haven't installed on Windows in a long time, but my memory (from Forum discussion) is that you should select to perform a Custom installation, which will permit you chooset an alternate drive.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
