Cannot access document

window...Import character set comes up.....I do not know how to get past that
Open Office 3.2 on Windows Vista

That window means you have file that AOO does not recognize. What type of file do you have? Can you post a copy here? See viewtopic.php?f=74&t=8289 for details.
