Untitled unsaved discarded document recovery

I accidently discarded an OOW document that had not been saved or even titled . am I screwed or can I retrienve it?

Almost nothing to do.
You can use a recovery tool and scan your temporary folders (see in Tools>Options>OO>Paths). Find any file that looks likea zip archive and rename it .odg afterward.
