Downloading in Parts

Can we download Open Office in Parts? I mean can we download separately Word Processor and SpreadSheet applications of Open Office?...

No, you can't.
You can install separately the components running the custom installation but common files represent most of the space, each application being less than 10MB so you won't gain much room and you may have troubles because Writer is needed for Base if your want to make reports or forms for example.

If your problem is the bandwidth, you should either download it with a friend who has a fast access or look for a magazine with the latest 2.4 version.
