[Solved] Showing file type at top of program window

Post by freedda »

When I have a file open any of the OO programs, it shows me the name of the file at the top left of the screen (e.g. "mail-list") but it doesn't show me the file extension (.odt, .doc, .rtf, etc). I'd like to be able to see this as I'm working on the document because I sometimes save versions in different formats.

Is there any way to show the file extension?

Best, David

Have you read the Survival guide? Sorry if you tried and came up empty-handed, but we encourage everyone to try a search first.

See How to Show the Filename with the File Type in the Title Bar
AOO4/LO5 • Linux • Fedora 23
