open office & ultra recall

I realize this is slightly off-topic & I apologize for that up front. I am relatively new to OO & brand new to this forum. I searched forums for 'embed' & some other criteria w/o much luck so my question is:

Ultra Recall is PIM I use which allows embedded files to appear in the browser, IE or FF based. There are settings for *.doc & *.xls type files which I use. Is it possible to embed oo write & spreadsheet within IE? Thank you?

Jan,
have you asked Ultra Recall?

As I have browsed their website I could not find any support for OpenOffice.org nor Open Document Format (ODF/ISO 26300). As a customer can you ask their support service or board, if they provide any of these supports?

By the way, the latestOOo version, release 2.3 offers great ability to produce extensions.

No, but I will.

I don't know how many URpers use OOo which may be problematic. However, the developers did create extensions for Thunderbird & FF since so maybe I can hope. I wish I knew how to do it; I'd do it myself.

Thanks for your reply. If something develops from this I will report back.
