I installed the 2.0 version of OOo on some windows 98 computers. When I try to open a file, which has a space in its name with the writer by double clicking on it, it doesn't open. I gives an error message, that the file was not found. As an example: when I try to open the file named "test file.odt", I receive the message that the file "test" and the file "file" can't be found. When I open them within the writer already loaded, it works ok. What can be the reason and how to solve this?
Thanks for your help.

Re: opening files in win98
Hi and welcome to the community!
I am not quite sure, but I think I remember this being a bug in older OOo versions.
Have you tried the current release 2.3.1 (which is also compatible to Win98)?
You can get it from the official download site.
