Is it in any way or form possible to make openoffice batch print / batch convert documents to PS/PDF - preferrably without X?
The reason that i'm asking is that we have an old legacy text-editing application, which fills out documents (ie. as templates), and sends these to a printer or mail application. Now i've already done the conversion/filling out part - so that a small python program takes the OO templates and fills them out according to our templating specs. But now comes the interesting part .... Turning the document into either PS/PDF or printing it directly.
And since this part resides on the server, and not on the terminals that the user is running on, it would be preferable to do it 1) in batch and 2) without having to start up X on the server.
