CANNOT PRINT!!!!

for some reason I cannot print documents through this prog. the printer sounds like it's printing, but nothing prints. Any suggestions??????

In addition to the pieces of information that the Survival Guide and Hagar request, and regarding the tips for asking questions, this needs a lot more detail before anyone can begin to guess what might be going on. For example, you're asking about "this prog" but which prog is that? Writer? Calc? Impress? All OpenOffice? We may be good, we even might be really really good, but we're not mind readers.

Have you searched the forum or the Help file or the user documentation? If so, what did you find and what did you try that didn't work?

Have you verified that you can still print from other programs (your browser, for example)... that the printer isn't just out of ink?

What printer model?

What print settings have you selected, and where did you set them?

Have a look in Tools> Options> (whatever program you're trying to print from, such as OpenOffice.org Writer)> Print. Is anything not selected there that should be?

Are there any other details that you can think of, even if they might not seem relevant?

That should give us a real start on the problem.
