Cannot save files in Impress

I cannot save a prestation in Impress with OOo version 2.3.1. I get an error saying "Error saving the document Untilted2: Write error. The file could not be written." I can open new documents and save them, but however many times I try to save this document I get that error. Is there some way to fix it?

I have this same problem. I am using Ubuntu Linux 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon and OOo 2.3.1 with ODP format. My file is local.

So let me understand; you can load the file into Impress, but if you change it and try to save it, you get the error?

What happens if you open the file, then do File > Save As, and save it under a different name--without changing it?

Does your presentation use a lot of images?

Have you checked that you have plenty of disk space available for temporary files (probably in /tmp)?
