SOS Red squiggly lines FITS

Post by KellySoldierBlack »

Dear Computer Savvy People,
I have tried to follow your instructions to eliminate the pernicious omnipresent red squiggly lines.
I am not fluent in computer basics and am unable to implement the instructions.
I'm sure my ineptitude may frustrate, bore, and try the patience of this community, however, I am quite at a loss.
I throw myself at your mercy!
Thank you
Open Office 4.1.7

Welcome to the Forums.
There is a fix, currently under beta testing, which is described here
If that doesn't work for you, or you find the instructions too difficult, then pick the appropriate link for your operating system. [Tutorial] Profile reset on Windows 10 - with images or [Tutorial] The OpenOffice User Profile
OpenOffice 4.1.7, LibreOffice 7.0.1.2 on Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate & Windows 10 Home (2004)
If you believe your problem has been resolved, please go to your first post in this topic, click the Edit button and add [Solved] to the beginning of the Subject line.
