I have specific instructions, but basically I need something that would present beginner to intermediate experience. I have attached the instructions. Any help would be appreciated!!

Actually, I am just looking for direction. I am strugging trying to learn all the material for my class and now I have to implement it into a program that I know nothing about. My instructors directions are just to vague and I don't know where to begin. I just need some help getting started and I should be able to take it from there.
