please implement a feature on the sign in page where either:

the person can try to find their lost username, via email address, or
allow the retrieving of password with only the email address.


When I viewed the log in page today, it requested both my username and email address before a password could be retrieved. I could not remember my username.

Well, this issue is quite rare and a quick mail to the admin is usually enough to get the user name back.
We have limited resources for the forum software, don't hold your breath...

I can see a possible security problem if this was implemented - people trying random email addresses to retrieve a username to be used for malicious purposes.

It would be sent to the associated email address...
