Do I go to my initial post and click the green checkmark icon? Or some other way? ...wdc

Please add [Solved] to the beginning of your first post's title. You can also add the green mark if you would like.

Thanks. Does the green icon mean anything more than "Solved"? What do the two other icons mean? When are they used?

While the green icon does indicate that a topic has been solved, we still recommend that you actually edit the subject line so that it starts with [Solved]
This enables a person to be able to include the term [Solved] in a search. Regretfully, imo, there's no way to include the icon as a search parameter.
