[Solved] Grateful

Post by jmdraft »

When I first came across, and downloaded, OO, I was (normal for me) pressed for time. I was using a Word doc to keep track of a variety of data regarding a specific concern (Stock Market) at that time. It was kind of a clumsy mess requiring constant editing. Knowing nothing about, but having seen spreadsheets, I thought that such would be better for maintaining all this stuff more efficiently. Expecting it to be simple, I should not have been surprised to encounter frustrations. Short of chewing gum, a hammer and things as uncomplicated, few things (especially computer related) are simple.

Fortunately, for dummies like me, OO came with a help forum populated by an enthusiastic; patient community.
Those who responded to my post (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=74459) were gracious, kind and knowledgeable.

Caught up with my concern now and having been provided with answers to my questions, and learning resources, my spreadsheet is working well for me now.

This post is simply to express my appreciation to/for those respondents.

Thanks All.
