Had forgotten my password, having not been on this site for some time.
On clicking "Forgotten Password" link, I was asked for my Username. ? ? ?
Given that I was capable of forgetting the password, what are the chances of remembering a whimsical Username? ! ?
I mean, theoretically the options are close to infinite.
So after trying several possibilities, I gave up and created a new account.
Surely as a unique identifier User email address is the better request to make, at least as an option.
There are a limited number of possible email addresses after all.
Perhaps Admin can consider this change while I try and remember what I was coming here for . . .

Erm, next time you choose a user name, try not to be so whimsical that you have forgotten it next time you want to visit a place. Even if the mail address + password are a good enough combo for logging in, you still need a forum name to hide your mail address from spammers.

At the risk of seeming to be sententious I suggest that you save the password and user name in your web browser at least and preferably in a password manager as well.

This is not crystal clear but in fact you need to enter either the username or the mail address. Have you tried to enter the address only?
