Wonder if this mod has pop up on the discussion before to enable syntax highlight.

Is a bit old, but also is not the only one. This could allow to get a better reading of the code on Macros and Extensions topics.

How would that affect the server load?

Would need to know how it works, but I think is js then the computation is on the client. And maybe there are CDNs available. Not sure.

Bear in mind we use this for the MWiki already with <syntaxhighlight lang="python">
