[Solved] I am receiving hundreds of posts as e-mails

I registered on here about 10 months ago and asked one question. I did not request any e-mail notifications. Since then I have received hundreds and hundreds of e-mails of posts of various topics. Recently the inundation has increased. I must put a stop to this persecution. Who is the forum administrator and what is his contact information so I can get rid of this huge problem?

Go to the User Control Panel--->Overview--->Manage Subscriptions and see if you subscribed to some forums. If so delete the subscription.

In fact you have just registered this forum to ask your question above!
If you use the same e-mail address then it means that you've also subscribed a mailing list.

Please add '[Solved]' at the beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

I un-registered months ago to try to eliminate the problem, and then re-registered recently to try to do something about it.

Those messages are from the OOo users mailing list. That has no connection with this forum, except that both deal with OpenOffice.org.

Anyway, send a message, from the email address that's receiving the messages, to this address: ooo-users-unsubscribe@incubator.apache.org

That should start the automated process of getting you off the list and stopping the messages.
