Request extra subforum for issues affecting all applications

Since OpenOffice is coded in such a way that most of the elements (Writer, Calc etc) use much of the same code, perhaps there ought to be a section for non-specific questions. For example, I want to know where the data for custom colours (i.e. for fonts of highlighting etc) goes (i.e. the file path) on my WinXP OOo 2.4 installation, but I don't think that any of the available subforums are suited to this question.

You can use Beginners or Setup and Troubleshooting, or just use the forum for the application you're most interested in.

We probably already have too many subdivisions, and in the end It's not so necessary to have a perfect place for every topic.

If a topic is more likely to get an answer in a different forum, a moderator can move it.
