[Dropped] Making a leader

Post by koolking »

Hello,

I apologize if this is the wrong forum. I just didn't know where else to go. I've used Open Office a few times but only just for typing letters and such. I am a beginner on everything else.

Anyway, I am thoroughly confused on how to make a leader(s) in 4.1.2. I've looked in the Help file but got confused. I played around with it and got even more confused than I already was. Can somebody point me to a tutorial or something?

TIA,
kk

P.S. I did a search that pointed me to a video on YouTube. When I got there, there were lots of videos but none relating to leaders.

Reason: Moved topic from Beginners forum to Writer, probably a question about creating a header

Are you talking about adding fill characters when using tabs to separate text?

We may also be guessing on "leading", another typographical expression referring to adjustment of spacing (nost often line spacing), or a "Leading article" (aka. editorial). I guess that you think of something other than that.

Don't keep us guessing... :-)
