PDF in OpenOffice

Hi there I lost a file and can only access a pdf copy I made. Any chance I can get it back without having to reformat? Amiee
OpenOffice 4.1. on MacOS X

You may be able to select the text in the PDF and paste it into OpenOffice Writer. You will have to do a certain amount of reformatting.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.4 on Xubuntu 16.04.03 (mostly 64 bit version) and infrequently on Win2K/XP

If you were using Styles correctly it would probably be very easy.
