[Solved] Open Lotus 1-2-3 *.wk3 file

Post by Veeder77 »

Is there a way to utilize OpenOffice to view and print a Lotus *.wk3 or *.fm3 file? I was asked by a superior at my firm to possibly find a way to view/print these files any knowledge in relation to this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Not that I know. You should search the Internet for a converter or conversion site.

Libreoffice can open .wk1, .wks, .123. Is it possible to save these files in one the other formats?

Lotus-123 was one of the early "spreadsheet programs" at its time (and the Lotus company a relevant player).
But that's not so much relevant here. Much more useful would be realistic example files.
The only example I found on my computer opened in LibO V 7.5.3.2. The few very simple formulas it contained also were transformed and worked.
MS Excel before 2007 also claims to open .wk3.
On Windows 10: LibreOffice 24.2 (new numbering) and older versions, PortableOpenOffice 4.1.7 and older, StarOffice 5.2
