[Solved] PDF format to match o/s selection

Post by dogears7 »

pdf use in standard government and business forms require at least adobe 6.
1. What open office version do I need for the right pdf software to open the current adobe forms in common use at this time?
2. What pdf software to I need as a freestanding option to fit with my Xandros Deluxe o/s?

Just use the most recent version of OO for your operating system. I believe that is 4.1.1
Xandros is an linux variant (I have Xamdros on another system).
If your second question is in regards to making PDF files, OO already does this, using File -> Export to PDF
If it's in regards to opening PDF's for reading my version of Xandros, which is 4.0, already does this automatically.
I don't know if this was something that was left over from when I upgraded from 3.0 to 4.0 or not... I do know that the ability was in 3.0 also.
OpenOffice 4.1.7, LibreOffice 7.0.1.2 on Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate & Windows 10 Home (2004)
