Version 4 does not seem to be available in Arabic, but version 3.4.1 is at this link. Version 4 is probably waiting on some additional translation.

This means that you do not have an Arabic user interface (menus, tools, help files). But you can write Arabic text and numbers with any language version of OpenOffice.
There is an Arabic spell check dictionary: http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/pro ... tionary-30
If you want to help with the Arabic version, you should subscribe at the localization mailing list. See http://openoffice.apache.org/mailing-li ... ist-public
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.

Hi,

thanks alot for your answers.

is there much difference between Version 3.4.1 and Version 4.0.1, i mean is Version 3.4.1 good enough to use or the design and look seems old, i am asking because i wish to integrate that on my own site later.

Thanks for answering me

version 3.4.1 will do as much as most people need. Try it and see what you think - it is a personal decision both as to its capabilities and its appearance.
