Calendar/reminder
I had OO on a previous computer, and I'm sure there was a calendar that I could set to remind me of events or deadlines months in the future. How do I do it with OO 3.3, Windows XP3?

Such a calendar has never been included in OpenOffice. It may have been from some external application
Thunderbird and Lightning are well spoken of, but I have no knowledge of them.

There is a useful extension for both Firefox and Thunderbird for that: ReminderFox. I've been using it for several years now, it's very good.
