[Solved] Corel Word Perfect Office Standard

Post by Mist »

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using?
2.4.0

What Operating System (version) are you using?
Windows XP SP 2 with updates.

What is your question or comment?

From reading the information, I thought I'd found a program that'd take me further away from MS. Now I'm not too sure so I'm here.

I have several (think hundreds) of Quattro Pro spreadsheets (notebooks) some of which are inter-related. This morning after installing I attempted to pull a smaller one into Open Office. You guessed it and that's why I'm here.

1. Will OO translate from QP to OO properly?
2. Will it translate inter-linked notebooks?
3. Will it do so without a ton of re-working?

I hate being a newbie. Total pain.

Thanks for the help and the information.
