How can I open a pub file in OpenOffice?

I don't find Publisher on the list of OOo directly supported file types, but you could try Zamzar, where it is listed among the document types, with .odt as a "TO" option. Haven't tried it myself.

Nothing opens pub files apart from Publisher.
