Can I open a .P65 file in OOo?

Post by restedjazz »

I have an old Pagemaker version 6.5 file (extension .p65) that I would like to open in OpenOffice version 3.2.1. Is this possible? If so, what filter do I use?

Not possible that I know of. Your course be may be to see if Zamzar.com can convert it to .odt or .doc format; almost certainly a successful conversion will require more or less editing to restore the layout.

You can't open Pagemaker documents with OOo. As Rory says you could try Zamzar.

I was looking to open .pmd and p65 files.
Zamzar will not do it.
