I received a PDF document that I need to complete.
How do I do that with OpenOffice?

Re: PDF
You don't. You print it out, fill it in longhand, and send it back by snail-mail.
PDF documents are not intended to be readily alterable and those who sent the document to you should be aware of that.

Re: How to complete a PDF?
Another possibility is to open it with a PDF reader, then if the fields can be filled in, type the information. Then, print the completed PDF with a virtual printer (like PDFCreator) to another PDF.
