Is there a chat room we can use? (newbie)

Is there a forum we can use to post questions? Making and reading forum postings is awfully slow.

IRC? See if you can find anyone at #openoffice.org. Other than that, search the web for openoffice+chat, using your favourite search engine.
Apache OO 3.4.1/4.1.2/4.1.3, on Ms Windows 7/10 and Mac OS-X 10.8.5 and 10.11.

AOO 4.1.7 on Xubuntu 19.10 and 4.1.5 on Windows 10 (with winPenPack port).

I hope not - noise levels in chat rooms are too high! In any case, posting and getting a considered answer is probably much faster than working it out for yourself!
