Hello I am a little confused open office is free to download from your site, I was on amazon and was searching for Ms Office and found a few people actually selling open office for $14.95, is this not illegal, how can they profit from open office

So what your saying is people can download ,copy to a cd rom and start selling it, I would understand selling it ONLY IF you sell it bundled with some extenstions, support files etc, but to just sell the same thing people can download free thats nuts,

Yes. Some even sell the link to the OOo download page...

Actually I can understand it if you burn it on CDs and sell them to people with slow connections - CDs aren't free and burning the CDs costs time and energy (= money).
