[Solved] Am I required to have MS Office?

I am new to open office my secretary shares documents back and forth with me she has ms office i have open office will i be required to have msoffice also in order for us to be compatible and share back and forth thank you for your help db

No, you don't need MS Office because OpenOffice.org can open MS Office documents. But you may notice some small differences in rare cases (complex tables in Word/Writer) as the two programs are not perfectly identical. And why don't you also give OpenOffice.org to your secretary?
