Printing from OO fails.
Converting to .PDF and printing via Adobe, etc. = works.
Printer Copy function (scan/print) = works.
Notepad print = works.
Libreoffice print = works
Have uninstalled driver, managed USB interface, files multiple times. Run HP repair utility multiple times.
Running OO, printing, observed in the "what's printing" box the #pages is "NA".

Perhaps caused by the bitness of the printer driver? OO is 32 bit, so perhaps a 32 bit driver might help.

Turns out the "bitness" is the issue. I have other 32bit apps installed which are also failing the print. Observed that the page count is displayed as "N/A". Unfortunately the vendor installs based on OS bit reporting. No user option there. Thank you for the compass point.

A manual download and install of the correct 32 bit printer driver might cure the problem.
