REGEX() function announced for LibO 6.2

Post by Lupp »

There was a question in the Calc forum about the handling of an account keeping note. This is not an answer. I simply want to probably get feedback concerning the value of a new function in a different branch of software.

There were reasons for what I couldn't answer to the posted question without additional information and lots of restrictions and explanations.
However, I had the idea to test on this occasion the power of the new REGEX() function announced to be available in the soon coming LibreOffice V6.2.

Please understand that the attached example will neither run in any AOO nor in any released LibO. To test it you need to install the Beta1 of LibO V6.2.0.0. (It's a developer version installing in parallel.)
