Getting Rid of the Properties Feature on the Right

I was just wondering, since all the features of the 'Properties' seems to already be on the top rows, is there any way of getting rid of it on the right of the page? The only options I see is either docked or undocked. I just find it annoying when I am trying to write a book or whatever, it is in the way and distracting.
