Si, I searched for the future of java in open office in this forum, nothing much came up, except for the concerns of users regarding osx.
So, when do the OpenOffice developers finally will get rid of the java dependency in open office? Personally I would greet the day that happens. I know it works without java, a bit, but I also use the database things of oo where java is needed for.
Especially, there are some other small unexpected things that don't work without java, so use without java is not really an option.
Again, please get rid of java.
