(solved) shortcut to OO Forum, beginners. how do I set one up on my desktop?

You can find instructions by using Google to search for "desktop shortcut to website".

Point at the word Beginners in the heading (where it shows Board index < Getting started < Beginners), then right click.
Select Save link as...
In the Save dialog, pick your Desktop for the location to save the link.
