Kingsoft/WPS or OpenOffice

Post by Prolker »

I'm a long time OpenOffice fan. It's always been the Office Suite for Apache and Linux users.

In the past 4 years Kingsoft, now known as WPS, has gained populrity.

Which one is recommended for Windows 10, specifically for spreadsheet use and the quality of built in functions. I love open office but am wondering if WPS is better.

Any advice? :)

As I see on the WEB, the WPS office has a free version, but the "full featured" versions are commercial products:

I never tried the WPS, but in the past I tried an old version of the Kingsoft Office. That version was not supported the macros, was not available the International Standard ODF output...

Have you tried the LibreOffice?

I agree.
Generally speaking:
Kingsoft Office / WPS only support macros in their commercial version and not in the free version.
In my opinion Kingsoft Office / WPS have a nice graphical user interface.

LibreOffice has everything with an acceptable graphical user interface and is free.
