Using XPath to data mine a website

Post by grem41 »

My apologies for both sounding vague and maybe sending this to the wrong area of the forum.
I'm trying to interrogate a website using XPath elements that are imported into Calc.

(The idea this might be the way to proceed is from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaN2J6JG ... tml5=False

This seems to use an Excel Plug SEO Tools for EXcelin to add an XPath function to query a website - Exactly what I need.

My question is what is the equivalent Plugin in Calc and how do I install it ?

Many Thanks

FUCK ALL SEO!
On topic: There is nothing in OpenOffice related to scraping websites, particularly not for freaks like you.
Please leave us alone and use Microsoft Excel.
