I want to create a database for my roommate, but Base keeps asking for JRE.
I have installed both Java and JRE, but Base still keeps asking.
I have restarted my laptop several times, with no change.
What do I need to do?

Re: Base and Java
First, be sure you have installed a 32 bit JRE. Then go to the menu Tools -> Options and expand the OpenOffice list on the left. Select Java and then click the Use a Java Runtime Environment box. Wait patiently until all the available JREs are list and pick one. Click OK and you should be done.
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint
