Changed from maillist to OO Forum

Post by nissen945 »

I changed from the maillist to the forum after being flamed for a religious signature tag in the email. This being on a first post. I use that type of writing style for my email, between friends. I don't believe it is fair to force one to change what they can use between friends and family. At least, with the forum format, I can skip putting in of religious content such as signature, so as not to offend.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

We tend to be less picky in the forum as long as the discussion does not change to a troll.

Well, welcome to the community forum at least.

What email client are you using? Most current ones allow you to have more than one profile, with different signatures.

I use 2 online services to reply to mail through. These will not allow dual profiles but have enhanced security from spammers/scammers.
Thunderbird does allow the secondary profile, however I generally don't use for anything saving "in-site" emails.
