Setting up a solaris server
I own, but have never used, a sun enterprise 3500 server which I want to get running and attached to the web. I live in Wisconsin (USA). Can anyone help me find a company or individual who can help me do this? I am very good in the hardware and intel work, but can't manage this unix stuff alone. My long term plan is to establish this machine as a mirror server for open office. THANKS, Mike

Re: Setting up a solaris server
Have you looked into the OpenSolaris sites - you will find much more information there.

There is also the SUN web site and the solaris support forums.

It's conceivable that you might get some help from the mirrors project.
