So I decided to come over to this forum

Post by EdH »

Hi guys,

Most of the super users here will know me anyway from the other forum and while I have been a member here since it was in beta, I dedicated my time to the other forum as a moderator as there needed to be someone fighting the spam. Now the spam has cleared up, I think it's time for me to move here. Much nicer forum setup.

So I'll be around here quite a bit now.

Nice to have you here--welcome!

With improvements, I thought maybe it would be time for 10point0, but that's a high standard I guess. ;-)

I would have changed my name to something that actually reflects who I am in real life but then would you know who I am? Plus this phpBB seems to be setup so you can't change your username.

Admins can do that it seems. Just PM me or another one if you need to change it.

Actually changing user names is a setting that can be controlled by user and or group - so we could make it board wide - anyone can change there own user name, no one can do so or perhaps Volunteers can change their own and Admins can change any ones.

The default setting is for no name changes allowed except by an admin account - just haven't changed from the default.
