Looks like the Government of Canada is getting interested in Open Source. They've posted a request for information looking for feedback on guidelines for aquiring free software:

Here's a chance to influence government adoption of OpenOffice.org and other open source software. With the current budget crisis they're probably looking for options! there's an email address listed in the mess of text as well as some questions they want answered. Send them your thoughts!
