FTP and AOO files

Post by waynec444 »

I want to save to a web site using fTP. I need to select from text or not text. Which should I use? Is the spreadsheet in text or something else?

Not to use there, just to have a backup online.
Edit: Split from FTP upload/download as the problem is different. New problem should have a new topic.

In general, native AOO files such as .ods or .odt using the ODF standard are not plain text so you should use the Binary, or non-text, option. If you are using .csv, that is a plain text file.
