Installation problem

I just dowloaded the 3.0 beta of open office to check out the pdf editing abilities ( I also have 2.4.x, but when I tried to install the pdf import extension, it gave me an error mesage saying "The extension cannot be installed as the following dependencies are not fulfilled: OpenOffice 3.0" What gives?

Check to make sure you are actually trying to install the Extension in OOo3. Last time I saw this reported, the user had downloaded the Extension, and clicked on it. The file associations linked the Extension to 2.4.1 not 3.0.0. Explicitly open OOo3.0 and use the Extension manager to install the extension.
