I am using OpenOffice4.01 on Windows 7 on a Dell desktop computer.
I get an error

when I try to download a newer version of the getquote extension. I am trying to replace version 0 with version 1.0 since my current file is apparently corrupted. I find it a very useful extension, when it is working.
It would be helpful to have a similar extension that would work on stock options (puts & calls).

You must not dump the downloaded file into your profile folder. Put it somewhere in your own folders and install it via Tools>ExtensionManager...[Add...]
