[Solved] Writer2epub does not work with OO 4.0

The Writer2epub extension does not work with OpenOffice 4.0 running with Windows 7.
It appears in the Extension Manager and seems to be loaded properly, but the epub icons do not appear in the toolbar.
I checked for updates and installed the updated version of Writer2epub.
I checked through the tool bars menu, but the icons do not show up as available to be added.
Is there a way to make this extension work?
I used it successfully with the previous version of Open Office 3.whatever with Windows 7.

Due to code changes in AOO 4.0 extensions that use toolbars need to be modified.

The extension works for me with AOO4 after creating my own toolbar button pointing to Basic library "writer2epub", module "A_main", routine "writer2epubMain".

Hi,
In the repository for extensions, page for Writer2Epub, click on Download Extension.
Then you jump to the author's web page (in Italian). Read it:
- the first download link is compatible with LibO 3.x-4.x/OOo 3.x/AOO 3.x/NeoOffice. NON compatible with Apache OpenOffice 4.x!
- the second download link is compatible only with Apache OpenOffice 4.x.

The same problem occures again by Apache Openoffice 4.1.0
Does anybody know what can be done in this case?

Did you download directly from the author's site http://writer2epub.it/en/download/?. He states its compatible with 4.1.

Sorry, I closed the symbol bar for Writer2epub and then I didn´t find the way to open the symbol bar for Writer2epub again,
which is in the pulldown menu "View" - "symbol bar" and there one has to check "W2E toolbar".
Now I can see the symbol bar for Writer2epub again and Writer2epub is working fine.
